50% Deposit Required (NON-REFUNDABLE):
To secure your car wrapping services, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost is required. Installation will be scheduled once the contract is signed.
Installation Timeframe:
Please expect a turnaround time of 3 to 5 working days for installation. This timeframe does not include weekends.
Vehicle Preparation:
Before dropping off your vehicle for wrapping, it is essential to:
Wash your vehicle thoroughly.
Do not apply wax or CLAY BAR to your vehicle's surface before drop-off. Cloud 9 Detail will not be held liable for vinyl adhesion issues caused by the presence of wax underneath the vinyl.
Should your vehicle require washing upon arrival at our facility, an additional charge of $100 will apply.
Removal of Vehicle Emblems, Mirrors, Door Handles, and Existing Vinyl:
If you request the removal of vehicle emblems, mirrors, door handles, or existing vinyl, please be aware of the following:
There will be an extra charge of $60.00 per hour for this service.
Cloud 9 Detail is not liable for any damage that may occur during the removal process.
Ownership of Vehicle:
The customer hereby certifies and represents that they are the legal owner of the vehicle undergoing wrapping services by Cloud 9 Detail. It is a requirement that the customer possesses full ownership rights to the vehicle, and the vehicle is not under a lease agreement. Cloud 9 Detail reserves the right to request proof of vehicle ownership at any time during the transaction. If it is determined that the customer is not the legal owner of the vehicle or that the vehicle is subject to a lease agreement, Cloud 9 Detail may refuse or terminate services without refund, and the customer shall be solely responsible for any legal consequences or disputes arising from misrepresentation of vehicle ownership status.
Vehicle Condition:
It is important to note that wraps adhere best to vehicles with factory-finish paint jobs and no major damage. Vinyl may not adhere properly to repainted vehicles, and significant dents or exterior damage can increase the potential for issues such as wrinkling, lifting, or bubbling during installation. Additionally:
Poor factory paint jobs or repainted vehicles may experience paint damage during installation.
Cloud 9 Detail cannot control these issues and therefore cannot be held liable for them.
Additional Information:
Horizontal surfaces, including hoods and bumpers, are not covered by our warranty.
Vertical surfaces are warranted for 90 days from the date of installation.
Personal Items:
Before delivering your vehicle for wrapping, please remove all personal items. Cloud 9 Detail is not responsible for any loss of personal property during the wrapping process.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS, TERMS OF PAYMENT, LEGAL FEES, AND DISPUTES:
Payment Terms:
The customer agrees to make full payment prior to the release of the vehicle or products. The vehicle or products will not be released until full payment has been processed accordingly. Any invoice that remains unpaid at the time of delivery will be considered past due. The customer is responsible for all collection fees, including but not limited to attorney fees and court costs, for unpaid balances at an interest rate of 18% per annum.
Non-Expectation Contract:
This agreement is not an expectation contract, and Cloud 9 Detail is not responsible for buyers' remorse. By accepting the vehicle or products, you acknowledge that the job is considered complete and that the performance is satisfactory. It is your responsibility to inspect the product or vehicle upon receipt.
Dispute Resolution:
If you have any dispute concerning an invoice, you must notify Cloud 9 Detail in writing within ten days of the date of the invoice. Failure to identify disputes within this ten-day timeframe will be construed as acceptance of the job and the invoice. Any disputes must be accompanied by a written explanation. After an investigation, if an error is found on our behalf, we will make appropriate corrections.
Materials Payment:
All materials for the customer's job must be paid for 100% before the order, and work will commence only after payment. Please note that ordered materials are non-refundable, and a 35% restocking fee will apply if you choose not to proceed with the installation after materials have been ordered.
Payment Methods:
We do not accept checks unless they are paid via certified funds and are pre-approved in writing by Cloud 9 Detail. A fee of $50.00 will be charged for any returned checks, in addition to the amount due.
Change Requests:
Any requested changes to the description of services must be submitted in writing, and any additional charges incurred will be billed accordingly. The remaining balance, including any additional costs or fees, must be paid upon completion of the job before the vehicle is released.
Vehicle Condition:
Cloud 9 Detail is not responsible for the condition of the vehicle before the vinyl is installed or for any issues that may arise underneath the vinyl once it is installed.
RETURNS:
Vinyl material is non-returnable once it is installed per the customer's request. If the job is canceled or the customer does not want the product for any reason, the vinyl material cost is non-refundable, and a 35% restocking fee will apply. Any complaints or issues must be submitted in writing to Cloud 9 Detail, giving us the opportunity to address and resolve the issue before pursuing legal actions.
Finality of Contracts:
Since all wrap installations are customized to the customer's specifications, once the vinyl is installed, all contracts are considered final, and no refunds will be issued.
CONTENT:
Cloud 9 Detail reserves the right to refuse any work or vehicle for any reason.
INSTALLATIONS:
Vinyl material is a pliable plastic material that may not conform to all surfaces seamlessly. In some cases, relief cuts or patches may be required to cover certain areas. Some minor tenting and lifting may occur as the vinyl attempts to return to its original form, and such issues will be addressed, if necessary, within the 90-day period. For the best results, all vinyl material should be applied to a "like new" vehicle finish. Any surface imperfections, such as rust, bubbling, scratches, dents, or other damage, may be visible through the film and can damage the film or cause premature failure. Areas repaired with body filler must be properly prepared and finished with OEM paint or clear coat. Any recently applied finish must be fully cured for a minimum of 30 days before the film is applied.
Installation Timeframes:
Installation timeframes are based on various factors, including the selected film, curing time, installation locations, vehicle size, complexity, and unforeseen circumstances. While we strive to provide reasonable timeframes, Cloud 9 Detail reserves the right to adjust them for any reason.
WARRANTY AND MATERIALS:
All materials are installed based on the customer's or authorized representative's request. We are not the manufacturer of the product, and all warranties are provided by the product manufacturer. For warranty information, please refer to the manufacturer's website or brochure for specific details regarding the product(s) you ordered. Cloud 9 Detail is responsible for the installation of the product, not the manufacture. If you encounter issues with the product, please contact us for assistance. Damage caused to the vinyl material by the customer or any third party is not covered by the warranty.
AFTER CARE:
We recommend HAND WASHING ONLY for the first week and thereafter if possible. To ensure the longevity of your vehicle wrap, please follow these guidelines:
Keep the car out of direct sunlight for the first 2-3 days after installation.
Do not pressure wash the car for the first month. If using high-pressure sprayers after 60 days, stay at least 3-4 feet away from the vinyl material at all times.
When cleaning, use only vinyl material-safe products like soap and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals that can deteriorate the vinyl material.
Refrain from using abrasive washing cloths as well as drying towels.
NEVER WAX or CLAY BAR the vehicle as this can cause the vinyl material to turn yellow and crack.
UPKEEP:
It will take approximately 3-5 days for the wrap to cure. Our wrap installation warranty covers minor lifts and is valid for 90 days starting when the wrapped vehicle is taken from our shop. However, it is the customer's responsibility to maintain the wrap beyond this period.
VEHICLE STORAGE FEES:
Vehicles left beyond the authorized pickup day (defined as the date the vehicle is ready for pickup and the client has been notified) will be subject to storage fees of $50.00 per day, per space occupied, until the vehicle(s) have been retrieved and paid for.
CHANGES/CORRECTIONS/ERRORS:
We reserve the right to correct inaccuracies, prices, omissions, descriptions, and errors related to products, production, availability, and information updates at any time without prior notice.
VINYL LIFE SPAN:
Although vinyl manufacturers guarantee the material to last from 5 to 10 years, the actual lifespan of a vehicle wrap may vary, generally ranging from 3 to 5 years. This variation depends on factors such as maintenance, environmental conditions, and usage.
MINOR NICKS AND SCRATCHES:
During the installation process, our expert installers use heat guns and razors to manipulate and position the vinyl. While we take every precaution to achieve a flawless installation, it's important to acknowledge that, in rare cases, minor nicks and scratches may occur on the surface of the vehicle's paint, trim, or any other part of the vehicle. Cloud 9 Detail will not be held liable for such minor imperfections, which can be a normal part of the installation process.
REMOVAL:
Your vehicle's vinyl material should last approximately 3-5 years, depending on maintenance. When you decide to remove it, our professional installers can cleanly remove the wrap. The price of removal is $100 per hour. The hours charged for removal may vary depending on the duration the wrap was on the vehicle. Cloud 9 Detail is not responsible for the condition of the paint and body when removing old vinyl.
What to Expect During Installation:
Door handles and mirrors may have seams.
Unpainted bumpers will not be wrapped.
Running boards will not be wrapped.
In severe channel areas, seams may be necessary to prevent wrinkling, lifting, and bubbling.
Difficult areas may exhibit bubbles and wrinkles, and the vinyl may lift.
